The first quality that comes to mind after working with Amit is trust. I was certain that Amit had MY best interest in mind, ALL the time. I used Amit’s help in purchasing a rental investment property. He educated me about various things to keep in mind when evaluating investment properties, what can go wrong, and how to minimize the risk of that happening. The other thing I really liked is his objectivity. He would present numbers and honest opinions about properties – especially when they are not good in his opinion. He convinced me to avoid some bad investments and eventually we found a great deal. He even helped me find tenants and still checks in if things are going ok.. He knows a lot about the construction side of things. That really helped – since when we went out to look at properties – he would immediately be able to spot all significant issues – in fact, he caught all major issues that eventually came out of the professional inspection report. He would then suggest solutions and price estimates to fix the issues – that really helped in evaluating the deal objectively and not get surprises later. I would highly recommend working with Amit.

We are first time home buyers and Amit helped us out throughout. Amit Shanghvi is the best Realtor in Austin! I’ve been in Austin 40 years and I know a lot of Realtors, myself included, but I’ve never known anyone more professional, ethical, helpful, responsive to me, and knowledgeable of the area than him. I have complete confidence and trust in him. I moved to San Antonio 3 years ago and started renting out my home. He has found me two separate solid long term tenants, executed proper leases, investigated credit, employment and references with the highest scrutiny. He’s always looking out for my best interests and makes sure my property looks it’s best for showing it. He drove all over town dropping off brochures when the market was slow to generate leads. He’s mowed my grass, painted a whole wall because it needed it, took professional photos and found me maintenance personnel for odd jobs, all because he didn’t want me to have to drive up to do it. He pays attention to details and has excellent negotiation skills. If he doesn’t know the answer he digs till he finds it. He loves what he does and excels at it every day.
